Various Vinegars, Not Just For Salads and Cooking Anymore Part II

Here are some various Beauty and Health Aids, Relief Advice and Remedies, I found while researching some of the various vinegars used for cooking and salads. Now, I would not try some of these methods, nor am I promoting you to. I just found them interesting.
However, if you recommend one of these resolutions I will certainly share this information with our readers. One I have tried and recommend is under Burns, Sunburn, 2 cups of white vinegar with a cup of baking soda in bath water and soak.

Arthritis Relief
Try mixing 2 spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar and honey in a glass of water, and drink this mix three times a day, relief should come in 2-3 days, but a difference happens sooner.

Boils and Ingrown Hairs
Try using hot towel or hot pack soaked in white vinegar on the affected area for 15-20 minutes three or four times a day, bringing the area where the puss will ease out, do not squeeze the area.

Burns
Cooking Burns
Quickly douse the burn with white vinegar to help prevent blistering in that area.

Sunburn
Try splashing some white vinegar on your sunburn for quick relief of pain or put a cup or 2 cups of white vinegar with a cup of baking soda in bath water and soak.

Trying to Avoid Sunburning, but to Tan
Try by applying white vinegar before going out in the sun to lessen the chances of getting sunburned.

Deodorant
For a natural neutralizing body dab a little white vinegar under your arms every morning neutralizing your bodies’ ph balance, for less mess do it in the shower. Or spray a little white vinegar under each arm after bathing and let it dry as a defender from perspiration odor.

Douching
Use 1 cup of white vinegar and filling the douching bottle or bag with water.

Colds, Fever, Sinus Problems etc.
Congestion
For congestion from a cold, chest congestion or sinus infection, add ¼ cup white vinegar to water in steam-vaporizer to get obtain. If you do not have a vaporizer, you can also use this in a pot on the stove, boiling the water until the vapor grows through out the house.

Cold Relief
Mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and 1/4 cup of honey to feel relief from your cold symptoms. Do this up to eight times a day to fight off your cold.

Cold Sore Pain Relief
Dip a cotton ball in white vinegar and wipe it on the cold sore 3 times a day to ease pain and swelling from the cold sore.

Fever
For relieving low-grade fevers that are present in chronic fever sufferers. Mix 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a gallon of drinking water, drink up to a gallon a day.

Sinus Relief from Cold and Allergies
Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of white vinegar to your vaporizer or to a pan of steaming water to feel better. This also works when your allergies are reacting to spring and fall weather and plants.

Sore throat
Soothe your throat with a teaspoon of white vinegar in a glass of water. Gargle the solution, and then swallow, add honey for better taste. Or use a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon salt in a glass of lukewarm water and gargle with it for a fresh breath. This works for a sore throat too.

Upset Stomach Relief
Drink 2 teaspoons of Apple cider vinegar mixed in 1 cup of water, water can be warm.

Foot Care
Athlete’s Foot
Try soaking foot in white vinegar to kill the bacteria that cause athlete’s foot.

Corns and Calluses
Soak a cloth in white vinegar and tape it over the affected area overnight. Do this for a few consecutive night for relief, then the area should just peel off after a few consecutive nights of treatment.

Soften Cuticles
Fill a bowl with undiluted white vinegar and fingers, cover the cuticles until soft.

Soften Feet
Use 1/2 cup of white vinegar in a large pan or bucket and mix it with 6 cups of warm water to soak your feet in.

Toenail Fungus Remedy
Use equal part of white vinegar to warm water, soaking feet repeatedly over the course of a week.

Hair Care
Hair Conditioning and Dandruff Relief
For adding hair strength, dandruff relief, and removing chemical build in the hair, mix 1 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1 quart of water. This is a stripper for shampoo and conditioner build-up.

Healthy Glow
After shampooing, clean hair with 10ml white vinegar and rinse thoroughly.

Head Lice
For a natural alternative lice remover, especially for children, use warm white vinegar and put it on the hair using a nit comb and dipping it in the vinegar while combing the hair, helps remove the nits and assists in breaking down the glue the nits use to stay bound to the hair.

Hands and Fingernails
Brittle Nails Help
Soak nails in white vinegar for at least 5 minutes a day.

Fruit and Kool Aid Stains
Rub white vinegar over them like you are washing with soap to remove the stains.

Onion odor
If your hands smell like onions, rub white vinegar over them like you are washing your hands.

Soften Cuticles
Fill a bowl with undiluted white vinegar and fingers, cover the cuticles until soft.

Soft Skin Hands
After washing dishes or hand having been in soapy water, spray them with a mist of white vinegar or dip them in white vinegar, and dry.

Working Hands Relief
Need relief for a ph imbalance because of the alkali in the material used daily like plaster or clay, mix equal amounts of white vinegar and water, then soak hand for 5 minutes a day to reduce the effects of the of the plaster or clay.

Headache/Migraine Relief
Try soaking a washcloth in white vinegar and place it on your forehead for quick relief.
Alternate headache relief method: place a soaked brown paper bag in apple vinegar on your forehead.

Hemorrhoids Aid
Using a cotton ball or a cloth, dip in white vinegar and dab the affected area, if full strength vinegar is too strong mix equal parts with water.

Hiccups
Try swallowing 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.

IBS Ongoing Relief
Try sipping water with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar during the day, to lessen symptoms.

Insomnia Relief
For a natural alternative to help one sleep, try using 1 teaspoon of honey mixed with 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.

Liniment
For a liniment, beat 1 whole egg, add 1 cup white vinegar and 1cup turpentine; and apply.

Muscles
Cramps Quick Relief
Cramps caused by lack of potassium, use 1 teaspoon of white vinegar rubbed on the pained area for relief.

Aching Muscle Relief
Add a cup or 2 of cider vinegar to bathing water to relax the aching muscles.

Stiff neck
Mix even parts white vinegar and warm water, soak a rag in it. Then the wrap rag lightly around your neck. Supposedly if left overnight, in the morning the difference will be significant.

Pet Health
Adding 5 ml of this apple cider vinegar to pet’s drinking water gives it shinier and healthier-looking cat and protects it from fleas and ticks

Relieving Bruises
Use a mix of white vinegar and cold water, wetting a towel, and apply overnight, tape the towel if necessary or use an ace bandage for better placement.

Skin
Acne Remedy
Equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water will help acne, this mix can be dangerous to the eyes.
Age Spots Remedy
Mix equal parts of onion juice and white vinegar, apply it daily on age spots for a few weeks before it works.

Cleansing Your Skin
This homemade toner is to wash away old cells and leaving the skin tightened, equal parts of water and white vinegar mixed with two crushed aspirin and wash away.
This homemade toner is equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water, this mix can be dangerous to the eyes.
Equal amounts of apple cider vinegar and water will help acne, this mix can be dangerous to the eyes.
Older Men skin cleansing and softener, use white vinegar as an after-shave to tighten skin, kill bacteria and soften skin over time.

Dry or Chapped Skin
Use equal parts white vinegar with water on a cloth soaking the affected areas, or use white vinegar in your bath to aid healing.

Sensitive Skin Preventative Measures
Put some white vinegar in your bath water to keep bacteria from forming infections or starting rashes.

Soften Elbows
Use 1/2 cup of white vinegar in a large pan or bucket and mix it with 6 cups of warm water to soak your elbows in it.

Swollen skin
Run white vinegar on the swollen area suppose to be as effective as ice, dangerous to the eyes.

Swimmers Ear
Use 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar with one teaspoon rubbing alcohol dropped in the ear leaning head to get it in there and then tip your head the other way to drain excess out while what went in evaporates any water in the ear.

Stings
Bee or Wasp Sting
Use a cotton ball soaked in apple cider vinegar and hold it on or tape on the sore spot. Pain should stop shortly, bee stings still need to remove the stinger.

Jellyfish Sting
Douse the area with white vinegar to soothe irritation and relieve itching.

The Mouth
Breath Freshener
Use a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon salt in a glass of lukewarm water and gargle.

Cleaning and Whitening Dentures
Leave dentures in white vinegar for about 15 minutes to overnight, then brush them thoroughly as you normally would.

Potty Mouthed Children
Not most popular, and not harmful using white vinegar on the tongue the potty mouthed child will may deter them from saying nasty words.

Toothbrushes
Dipping toothbrushes in white vinegar does not only fight bacteria on them but all that which is in your mouth, and will help to whiten your teeth.

Thirst Quenching Relief
Try using apple cider vinegar mixed with cold water.

Tonic
For an energy boost mix 2 cups of white grape juice, 2 cups of apple juice and 1 cup of apple cider vinegar and refrigerate. Drink a small cup of the mix each morning.

Varicose Veins Relief
Try a splash of white vinegar on varicose veins to help reduce the veins and relieve the pain and swelling.

Warts Homemade Removal
By mixing equal parts of apple cider vinegar and glycerine makes a lotion, apply lotion daily to warts until they dissolve.

Yeast Infections Relief
Reoccurring yeast infections, try using use a cup of vinegar in your bath water twice a day, a safe method for children.
