Stuffed Banana Pepper Poppers

a recipe that serves 4 by me

Ingredients:

8 banana peppers
1 1/4″ slice onion chopped cup chopped onion
1/3 cup cream cheese
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a oven tray/pan with pam.
2. Cut off tops of peppers, and remove ribs and seeds. Cut pepper lengthwise in half remove remaining ribs and seeds.
3. In a small mixing bowl, combine onion, cream cheese, cumin, chili powder, and cheese. Mix well, cream cheese should be softer and workable.
4. Divide cream cheese mix among the pepper halves, by stuffing them with a teaspoonful of the mix at a time.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes uncovered. Cream cheese mix will be very slightly browned.
