Fresh Spinach With Garlic in a Pan

a recipe that serves 2 by me

Ingredients:

1 bag (10 oz or 14 oz) Spinach or baby spinach, rinsed
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil or Canola oil

Directions:

1. In a 10″ or 12″ pam sprayed pan on medium-high heat, heat oil.
2. Add garlic and slightly brown. Add spinach and cover immediately.
3. Stir turning spinach every 2-3 minutes and lower heat to medium-low. Spinach will shrink down. When it appears to have shrunk down to 1/3 the amount, begin to taste for desired tenderness and taste.

Notes:

Pepper and salt are optional. I like the spinach when it is 1/3 the amount and I like to use the baby spinach more often, when it is available.
