Great Tasting Cole Slaw

a recipe that serves 6-8 by Aunt Toni

Must make 24 hours in advance of serving.

Ingredients:

1 pound cole slaw (found near the ready made salad bags)
1/2 cup low fat or lite mayonnaise
3 Tablespoons white vinegar
2 Tablespoons milk or 2% lowfat milk
1/4 heaping teaspoon celery seed
1 3/4 packs of Sweet ‘N Low or 2 packs of Equal
1/8 or to taste salt sense table salt (33% less sodium) and pepper

Directions:

1. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar and milk.
2. Add to the mix celery seed, pepper and salt (must add salt to take bitterness our of cole slaw’s cabbage), whisk. Add sweet ‘n low and whisk. Mix should taste a slight bit tart, if not add more vinegar.
3. Add in cole slaw and mix and whisk well. Over 24 hours mix 2-3 times, taste if bitter add a drop more sugar or salt. Taste should be pleasing by third time.

Note:

This low fat, low cal, low sugar tastes great on hamburgers, sandwiches or just like that!
