Panko Pork Chops

a recipe that serves 2 by me

Ingredients:

2 boneless 3/4″-1″ thick pork chops
1/4 cup Panko
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon prepared brown mustard
1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
6 tablespoons Canola oil

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Mix Panko, flour, garlic powder, pepper and salt in a flat bowl.
3. Mix egg, water and mustard in flat bowl.
4. Dip pork chops in egg mix and then in Panko mix pressing Panko into meat.
5. Heat 4 tablespoons of oil in medium frying pan when hot add garlic then pork chops. Cooking for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden browned.
6. On a lipped cookie sheet line with aluminum foil and sprayed with Pam, place 1-2 tablespoons of oil and coat entire bottom. Then place hot pork chops on pan, garlic on top of the chops and place it in the oven.
7. Cook for 20 minutes on each side, for an approximate total of 40 minutes. Pork chops should not be pink on the inside and juices should run clear when pierce.
