Roasted Brussel Sprouts

a recipe that serves 3-4 by me

Ingredients:

1 lb Brussel Sprouts, thaw frozen sprouts if not in season; fresh, trim of yellow leaves and clean
2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Line a rimmed baking tray with crinkled aluminum foil sprayed with Pam.
3. Put Brussel Sprouts in a large bowl add oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper mix with hands well. Pour mix onto baking tray.
4. Cook sprouts on top rack for 30 to 40 minutes depending on tenderness of sprouts. Turn sprouts every 15-20 minutes. Sprouts should be fork tender, and they should be dark brown to slightly blackish in color on the outside.
