Salmon Fillets with Creamy Mustard Sauce
a recipe that serves 2-4 by
Ingredients:
2 to 4 fresh or thawed salmon fillets 5 to 7 oz per fillet
1/2 cup of light mayonnaise
1 1/2 heaping tablespoons of prepared deli spicy brown mustard or dijonnaise
1/4 teaspoon of each: dried oregano, fresh or dried basil
1/3 teaspoon garlic powder paprika
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray pam/canola spray on a pan just big enough to accommodate the fillets
2. mix very well in a small bowl mayo, mustard, oregano, basil, garlic powder, paprika. place fillets in pan and coat bottom, sides and top of fillets with mix, be generous on top of fillets
3. bake uncovered for 40-45 min, salmon should easily flake with fork and coating should be darkened
Notes:
*Serves best with bland sides: like baked potato and a salad with oil and vinegar or steamed broccoli or asparagus.
