a recipe that serves 2 by
Ingredients:
2 bone-in center cut pork chops, approximately 6 oz each
1/4 bread crumbs
2 1/2 tablespoons of Locatelli, Romano or Parmesan grated cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt sense table salt (33% less sodium)
1/2 cup 2% milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with crinkled aluminum foil sprayed with Pam.
2. Mix bread crumbs, cheeses, garlic powder, pepper and salt, and spread mix out on a paper plate.
3. Put milk in a large flat soup dish.
4. Place a pork chop in the milk and turn it over, dredge each side through bread crumb mix. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat for next pork chop.
5. Spray tops of pork chops with pam and cook for 15 minutes. Turn pork chops over and cook for another 15 minutes. Pork chops are done if stabbed and juices that run out are clear, and pork chop is not pink inside. If pork chops are not done turn over and cook in 5 minute intervals until done.
